Soft tri-fold vs hard tri-fold vs retractable — which should I choose?
Soft tri-fold: light, budget-friendly, quick on/off.
Hard tri-fold (e.g., BEDLOK™, BAKFlip): rigid aluminum panels for better security & durability; longer cosmetic coverage.
Retractable (Retrax, Roll-N-Lock): low-profile look & fastest bed access; manual or electric.
Our BEDLOK™ hard tri-fold includes a lifetime mechanical warranty (soft tri-folds typically carry ~5-yr cosmetic coverage). We can install same-day/next-day based on availability — or you can pick up and DIY with phone/video support.
Do your BEDLOK™ covers include LED lights?
Yes — our BEDLOK™ hard tri-fold & retractable models include integrated solar-powered or battery LED bed lighting for night visibility. For soft tri-folds, we include a complimentary stick-on push light.
